Hey everyone!

Happy New Year, I hope you all had an enjoyable break over the winter holidays and are excited to start a year of gaming in 2023! Digital Files will be going out to backers later this month (more info below), but this will be a quick progress update before that happens. First up, a preview of another completed book!

Art Preview

Here are the updated covers and spreads for 'Dungeons & Crypts'. Please note the second image with the spreads will actually be what the back cover of the books look like, so you will have a quick way to reference which map is in each book and where to find them. You can also see the hi-res resolution versions of these images HERE

Surveys

About 90% of you have completed your surveys which is fantastic! To the remaining 10%, please make sure to complete them as soon as possible. We will be locking orders in the next few weeks as we need to start manufacturing, and only those who have completed their survey will get their rewards.

Digital Rewards

The first round of digital rewards will be delivered later this month. The first package will contain all of the  Battlemaps, Prop Assets and Creature Tokens, as well as the 6 original tracks from Music D20. The Adventure Module PDFs and VTT packs will be coming shortly after.  If you have ordered a VTT pack, you will still receive the digital files first with everyone else, and then the integrated VTT pack afterwards.

Late Pledges

Late pledges are still open and will remain open until the end of this month. After that we will continue to take pre-orders, but they will not be guaranteed to be in the first round of shipments so may arrive later. You can find the Late Pledge/Pre-Order page HERE

The Smoke Test went well, so we have sent out the rest of the surveys for you to fill out. Please keep an eye on your email inbox (including spam/promotional folders) to make sure you don't miss them. In anticipation of a few commonly asked questions here is some info that should help. Late Pledges

If you missed out on the Kickstarter or know someone who might be interested, late pledges will be open for 2 months until the end of January 2023. You can access the Late Pledge store here

Changing Pledge

You can change your pledge tier if you wish, although the option to do so is a bit hidden. When you open the survey you will see a page that looks something like this:

The option to change your pledge is at the bottom of the box (highlighted in red in the image above). From here you can increase or decrease your pledge level. If you choose to decrease your pledge, the extra funds will be added as credit that can be used to purchase add-ons or pay for shipping. 

Unfortunately we cannot process any refunds for pledges made on Kickstarter through BackerKit. If you have a legitimate reason to need to cancel you order, please get in touch with me via email [email protected]

Shipping Costs

For the most part we were pretty close with our initial shipping estimates, with the majority of fees being within about 10% of our estimates. Those of you who are likely to see a bit more of an increase on the estimated costs are anyone who pledged for the 'All the Books' tiers in the US or Australia. The reason for this is the weight of the packages.  Although we made sure to keep the boxes under the maximum weight limit for shipping, we have been advised that the extra weight of the packaging will put them just over the limit. 

We have looked at a lot of options, but the cheapest option is to simply send the two volumes box sets as individual parcels. This means that sending the 'All the Books' sets to the US has increased from £25 to around £42, and in Australia it has increased from about £46 to £68. I always aim for transparency whenever possible, so wanted to give you all a heads up about this before you reach the checkout. 

Survey Smoke Tests are out!

Hey everyone,

Just a quick update to let you know that BackerKit have approved the Pledge Manager and 'Smoke Tests' have been sent out. This means a randomly selected 5% of you will get the surveys and we will monitor them to see if there are any bugs or issues over the next 24 hours or so. These surveys will allow you change your pledge, purchase any additional add-ons, enter your shipping info and pay for shipping.

Assuming nothing goes wrong, we will send out the rest of the surveys to all other backers. This will most likely be on Friday as I will be spending most of the day tomorrow (Thursday) travelling to Philadelphia for PAX Unplugged. I will post another update once they are out to let you know, and I will also have some additional info.

Late Pledges will also be open once the survey goes live, I will include a link once that is ready.

Hey everyone!

It's been a couple of weeks since my last update, so I wanted to get in touch and update you about a couple of things.

Pledge Manager

As you already know, we are using BackerKit's Pledge Manager to take your shipping information, allow you to update your orders, change your pledge tier and also for late pledges/pre-orders for anyone who missed out on the Kickstarter. The pledge manager and pre-order store are pretty much set up on our end, and we are just waiting for some confirmation and checks from Backerkit before we send out our 'smoke test' surveys to get things rolling. 

As it is Thanksgiving in the US (Happy Thanksgiving to all who celebrate!), this is slightly delayed compared to the usual timeline, but all being well you will hopefully start to see surveys by the end of next week or the start of the following week. I will send another update once they are ready, and you should also receive an email from BackerKit.

PAX Unplugged

I will be at PAXU in Philadelphia from December 2nd to 4th. I am sharing a booth with our good friend DMDave at Stand 4107. If you are going to be at PAX, make sure to come by and say hi! I will have some early samples of a few of the battlemap books to have a look at and loads of free stuff to giveaway.
